A Bit About 'it'
Hi there, my name's Ben, apparently, I'm what you call a fellow human. I don't want to brag but I think I do this whole Human thing pretty well, in fact, I've been so good at this human thing, I've been doing it since birth. In fact, I'm so good at it, I can even do it in my sleep without turning into a strange hairy werewolf that grumbles in a language comparable to drunk English, or even fully sober Welsh.

You're here reading this, most likely at a desk or sofa to learn a bit more about me and my blog, or me and my brain. Or maybe you just got lost looking for the exit. Don't worry it's still up there in the top right corner the last I checked. Yes I'm Ben, a slightly pudgy blonde haired Englishman born in Oxford and sent up north for university. I like food so much I would literally die without it. Water and tea are pretty high up on that list too.
I have no real trade as a man of life, I'm a bit like a jellyfish going with the flow and finding what excites and intrigues me. I've found a stable constant in learning how things and people work, and love it when a plan comes together. I've never understood glamrock or how they put that little ship in those small bottles, but I somehow managed to convince a university that I did in fact know what I was talking about on two separate occasions. Once of Architectural Technology, and then again for a Masters in a subject that I can t really explain unless you already know it. Then what's the point in explaining it? we'd just be wasting everyone's time.

I've worked many jobs in my short existence and I'm still not sure just what we're all supposed to be doing, but its great to look at the world and think that we actually did do all this stuff that we see around us. I find it fascinating to imagine what the future holds, where technology and AI might take us, or what the next impressively idiotic trend will be and just how we got there.

I enjoy applying these skills to work and life as a whole, I've always been the fly on the wall, watching just who things and people work and function, how they get manipulated and persuaded, altered and influenced. I find the whole idea of strategic thinking truly fascinating and love that people also get to do that sort of stuff for a job in different fields.

I started this blog to show a little more of my understanding of the world and my thoughts on a few of the lessons that have been imparted onto me by teachers, mentors, events, and even in a few cases, dumb luck. I find the best progress is progress and if there's a way for me to make even the slightest bit of my hindsight beneficial to others then I'll try my best to share that knowledge with you.
